Provo Canyon Engagement Session
Heeellllllllllllllllllllloooo dear readers!
Before I get to the details about this Provo Canyon engagement session, let me tell you about this month so far.
We don’t have a lot of internet options up here in Provo Canyon, and our shady provider noticed how much data we were using (I work from home uploading photos all day long, what did they expect) and decided to start throttling our data! They capped us at 60GB last month and then didn’t reset it. So we have been without internet for TWO WEEKS! We have our cell phones, so we we’re able to manage. But you have no idea how hard it is to work from your cell phone. Haha I couldn’t send any images, couldn’t send contracts or pricing guides, wasn’t able to respond to a lot of emails because it is way too difficult to type long replies on a cell phone. I wasn’t able to research flights that I need to book for an upcoming wedding. We needed our propane tank filled and I couldnt find the info for the company. Oh my word the list just keeps going.
Truly though, one of the reasons I have been most excited to get internet again is because I have been dying to blog this adorable engagement shoot from right across from my house in Provo Canyon!
Taylor are Turner have been together since high school but went to different colleges. So they have been living the difficult long-distance life for the past few years. We were able to get together to do their engagements when Taylor was here for spring break. It was a lot of fun for me to get the chance to shoot them towards the begining of Taylors trip. It had been a long time since they had seen each other and the excitement they felt just by being together was wonderfully obvious. They were silly and giddy, then the next moment they were still and tender, then they’d get excited again and laugh at each other. You can truly tell that their relationship and connection is deep and nurtured. They have been best friends forever and it shows!
When I asked them what “love” meant to them, Turner eloquently put,
“[Love] will drive you crazy,
but the only thing that will make you even crazier
is not having it.”
It is clear that they are crazy for each other. Their genuine care for each other has made me beyond excited for their intimate wedding in the Uinta Mountains this summer. As if a small wedding in the gorgeous mountains wasn’t already exciting! haha
